Hi, I’m Nerijus, a Brighton-based photographer with over 15 years of experience capturing real people, real moments, and real stories. I’m driven by the belief that powerful imagery comes from authenticity, connection, and an eye for detail. Whether I’m photographing weddings, events, brands, or everyday life, my focus is always the same - creating images that feel natural, vibrant, and true to you. My philosophy is simple: photography should do more than document a moment; it should let you feel it again.

My name is pronounced neh-REE-yus - though most people call me Nero. I moved to Brighton from Lithuania with my wife in 2004 and instantly fell in love with the place. More than two decades later, we’re still here, and it still feels like home. The city’s colour, character, and creative energy have shaped the way I see light, people, and atmosphere, and that naturally flows into my work.

Photography began as curiosity - something I explored for the love of it. But after covering a couple of sports events, it quickly took on a life of its own. Fifteen years on, I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph sporting events across the UK, Europe, and beyond. Shooting sport taught me something invaluable: how to anticipate a moment before it happens, how to notice what others might overlook, and how to react instantly when everything aligns for a split second.

That instinct sits at the heart of my documentary approach today. Whether I’m capturing a wedding, an event, or a brand story, I’m always observing, ready for the spontaneous, unscripted moments that can’t be planned and shouldn’t be missed.

There’s also a story behind my name. It shares its roots with Nereus, a figure from Greek mythology known for honesty, calmness, and quiet wisdom. Living by the Brighton coast, I like to think there’s a small connection there - a steady, observant presence behind the camera, letting moments unfold naturally rather than forcing them.

Whether you’re a business owner, an event organiser, or a couple planning your wedding, my role is the same: to tell your story honestly and beautifully. I’m not just there to document what happened - I’m there to create photographs that, years from now, bring you right back to how it felt.
